I worked for Auburn Athletics from May 2015-May 2016 as a digital media intern. My responsibilities were to manage and post from @auburntigers social media accounts. We would attend sporting events and live post to Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Periscope to engage Auburn fans. Our goal was to always be giving an "inside scoop" to fans, showing them things that they wouldn't be able to see themselves. We also wanted to make it so that fans who could not attend events could use our social media accounts to feel like they are there; we wanted to give them the feeling of the Auburn spirit. We covered almost all of the sporting events and during the week in the office we created graphics and made strategic plans for the coming games and events.
